Food production is characterized by high competitive pressure, strict legal requirements, rising raw material and energy prices and consumers whose preferences are changing ever faster. Today’s food manufacturers have to become increasingly flexible and at the same time operate extremely economically.
The industry places special demands on storage and transportation, as the goods are sensitive and perishable. Care and hygiene have top priority. Food logistics providers have a challenging task. What is required is the continuous adaptation and further development of internal and external logistics services as well as a comprehensive understanding of the product.
